My stay at the Tropicana Las Vegas was a mixed experience. The suite of rooms we had was really run down and tired-looking, especially the carpet that needed renewal. Despite that, the location right at the EDC shuttle pick up was convenient and the hotel offered a great value for being on the strip.

I stayed on the ground floor, which was convenient for accessing the casino but meant our balcony faced the desert, so we didn't use it. The bathroom could use some renovation. Moving up a few floors, the room was nice and quiet, but it lacked basic amenities like a microwave, coffee-maker, and refrigerator.

The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the MGM for shows and has a more relaxed atmosphere in the casino. The rooms, especially in the Club Tower, tend to be dark and dated. Service is mostly acceptable though some staff interactions were unpleasant. Dining options can be decent, but there may be long wait times. Overall, a mixed experience with some highlights and drawbacks.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great for exploring Las Vegas on foot, with free parking available and very comfortable beds. Having a Starbucks inside for breakfast was convenient. However, the rooms were below par, feeling even less appealing than a budget motel in a small town, although they were mostly clean, albeit dusty. The working refrigerator was a letdown as it didn't actually work.

I found the Club Tower rooms to have a mild smoke smell throughout the weekend despite having reservations. The rooms didn't offer any views but were facing annoying lighting. The service was impressive in terms of cleanliness, but the staff rudely dismissed us without even acknowledging our loyalty status or offering any perks. The location is convenient for EDC shuttle pickups, but be prepared to pay extra for food and drinks on the Strip. The dining options, although varied, were weak for multiple meals during a vacation.
